Andrew D. Alpert, Member
Andrew D. Alpert has successfully defended over 500 DUI cases. He is a former prosecutor with specific training in motor vehicle manslaughter cases and DUI/DWI. He has had numerous cases covered by the press.
He has attended the National College for DUI Defense at Harvard University. He is a member of the National College of DUI Defense and is also a member of the Maryland Criminal Defense Attorneys' Association (MCDAA). He is Chairman of the Legislative Group of the MCDAA on Narcotics.
Mr. Alpert has been selected on several occasions to lecture to various police departments. He has also been certified in the administration of the National Highway Administration for Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. Mr. Alpert's trial experience includes every aspect of a DUI encounter and arrests, and he strives to afford the best defense in every case.
